INTERNATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS

The Akademie Deutsches Bäckerhandwerk Weinheim offers international training programs designed to bring the expertise of German baking directly to partners around the world. Through our traveling master bakers and instructors, we deliver professional courses, workshops, and consulting services directly at partner schools, bakeries, and training centers.

Our programs combine the traditions of German artisan baking with modern production methods and international market trends. Courses are tailored to the needs of each region and can include training in artisan breads, traditional German specialties, modern bakery products, production optimization, and product development.

Participants benefit from hands-on instruction led by experienced master bakers from Germany, gaining practical skills that can be directly implemented in their own bakeries and training institutions.

Whether working with professional bakers, culinary schools, or industry partners, the academy’s international programs promote knowledge exchange, innovation, and the global appreciation of German baking craftsmanship.

Hamish Morrin is our leading international baking instructor at the Akademie Deutsches Bäckerhandwerk Weinheim. Originally from New Zealand, he is a German-certified Bäckermeister (Master Baker), Konditormeister (Master Confectioner) and Bread Sommelier, combining deep technical knowledge with a passion for sharing German baking culture worldwide. 

As the International Development Lead, Hamish works with partners and institutions around the globe, delivering training programs, workshops, and consulting that brings German artisan baking expertise to international audiences. His work focuses on knowledge exchange, product innovation, and strengthening global appreciation for traditional German bread craftsmanship.
